When I saw that Candi was putting out a monthly challenge for October involving UFO's I started thinking about some unfinished projects. I mean we all have 'em right? I didn't always you know. I'd work a quilt from beginning to end and then start (find) another project to do. That has evolved and I now work on more than 1 project at a time and then the inevitable UFO's started.
I am very competitive, mostly with myself really, so it hit me that we were closing in on the end of October. How does that happen? Remember when you were a kid and thought time stood still?
I am happy to report that my quilt #2 UFO is quilted and all that remains is hand stitching the binding! Silly that I had the top, had pieced the backing and even had the binding ready to go. Well -it is a Christmas quilt so I kept putting it off. Now it'll soon be finished and washed/crinkly. Love it!

It's gorgeous fall weather and I am happily enjoying finishing my quilts - inside. I know I'll feel accomplished with these 2 done so it is worth it!

ReplyDeleteLove the Christmas quilt! I think the other one is going to be great too. Nice job getting those UFOs done. I plan to get mine done by the year end, if I don't get myself sidetracked in the process. Always a danger...
